Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American musician, model and singer. She is popularly known for her performance as the character "Blair Waldorf on the tv drama series 'Gossip Girl.' Leighton Meester began her career in the field at the age of a small girl. She began acting as a young girl, appearing in local productions of "Wizard of Oz." Her fascination with the business began to grow. Her first job was performing in commercials as well as modeling. She's worked as professional models for large brands, including "Herbal Essences,"" "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. Her acting career began with an appearance on the show on television 'Law and Order'.
